Jewelry Care Instructions

Your piece is finished in 14k white gold or 18k yellow gold over premium stainless steel. A little care keeps it looking the way it did the day it arrived.

1. Keep it away from water

Remove your necklace before showering, swimming or washing up. Chlorine, salt water and soap all wear the finish over time. If it does get wet, dry it fully with a soft cloth straight away.

2. Put it on last, take it off first

Perfume, hairspray, lotion and makeup are the fastest way to dull the shine. Let those settle before you put the necklace on, and take it off before you take them off.

3. Clean it gently

Daily wear leaves natural oils behind. Wipe the pendant and chain with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. If it needs more, use a barely damp cloth and dry it completely before storing.

4. Store it dry and separate

Keep it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, ideally in the box it arrived in or a soft pouch. Storing it away from other pieces prevents scratches on both.

5. Take it off for the rough stuff

Sport, gardening, cleaning and sleeping all invite knocks and snags. A minute to remove it saves the finish.

6. Handle the card too

The message card is part of the gift. Keep it somewhere dry and out of the sun, and it will outlast the occasion it was written for.
